Marten Persiel

Marten Persiel is a natural storyteller. Born in West-Berlin, his first steps into filmmaking were Skateboard Videos. His path soon lead to London, where he studied Screenwriting at Westminster University (BA). His unique style thrives on a warm humour, unconventional aesthetics, and breaking narrative norms. He is well at home in both long and short formats: His two feature films (written and directed) have won major awards on international film festivals and his commercial work has made waves at the ADC and the Cannes Lions. Marten is a true European, a polyglot nomad whose network spans from London to Barcelona, From Lisbon to Berlin.
